The T-50 antenna is designed for use primarily in the 80/75 and 40 m bands, but also works effectively on the 160 m band, and on all frequencies between 1 MHz and 30 MHz.
It is a 50 ft. high vertical antenna made from 6063-T6 or similar (Al-Mg-Si 0,5 or 1) aluminum tubing. The base has a diameter of 2 inches (50 mm) and tapers down to .750 inches (20 mm) diameter at the top. One advantage of the T-50 is that due to its telescoping aluminum tubing mast construction, it can be easily erected and dismantled in a short time by one person.
